Data are all around us. There are many data that is not fully utilized. We also believe that a network operations center (NOC) is more than just availability and bandwidth monitoring.
Combining this with our specialization in harvesting data, we provide additional insights and functionality within our NOC such as:
- Physical cable health checks
- Network performance in terms of dropped packets
- Configuration and version management
Of course, availability and bandwidth monitoring is also something that we do as these are the foundation and building blocks of a NOC / managed network services.
SNMP is a great source of data, but not every devices (especially really old ones) has those useful OIDs to provide data. Within our production environment, we make use of both SNMP and automation to grab relevant information and provide insights to both customers and our NOC engineers.
